One of those moments

or about a need to be alone

Regent street on Saturday night
empty shells walking around
with their forced extraversion
of a bottle of beer.

Who are you going to be tomorrow?
A banker? A baker? A student?

Maybe one day
you'll become my best friend,
but for tonight and until sunrise
I will walk by myself
anywhere I feel to,
far away from what you represent

Just sitting

or about not connecting dots (for once)

I'm just sitting
on my spot
observing what's
in my thoughts

I'd like to draw lines
but that's not what
this time is for
I must resist the temptation
and continue to watch

Pulsing and moving
as fast as they march,
swapping position:
are they the same thought?

The here and now of possibilities

or about the importance of having a vision

I play my cards
but don't know the game
My words are bards
and will do the same

I know I should feel my feet.
My weight on the ground
can be so sweet
But there is a force
pushing me away
I'll connect the dots
and follow my way

Patience must be a virtue

or about the weight of time

Let's talk about anything.
The kind of talk
time passes us by.

Let's avoid to go beyond,
it's non necessary for now
and there's no time tomorrow anyhow.

It'd be a terrible moment
for a fish to be hooked
just before the fisher's holidays.

It'd be a terrible moment
for a fisher to hook
just before the fish's holidays.

Let's ensure instead
that what's left with us
is a solid prelude
for two perceptive heads.

No ghosts are allowed
to dull our guts.

Let's talk about anything.
The kind of talk
to pass the time by.

Hercules had it easier.

Building up and taking down

or about change of directions

My loden thrown on the chair
your words looping my mind
the fear of losing my voice
to sing on your broken chord

I'm searching within
what you're longing the world for
let's build cathedrals
and erect playgrounds
where mediocrity pulls us
down

You gotta be brave
if you wanna do this
there's no way out
once you accept me in

May the time come
when I'll use your hair
to bring this temple down

Untitled no.2

or about waiting

There are women that are beautiful
they are beautiful without knowing

There are women that are beautiful
and the body is not concerned

Then the lilies always open
when the water reaches them

Black hair

or a salute to an hard life

Your black hair shined at dusk
walking away
diverging my path.

I called you,
you nodded,
stopped and
looked back.

I know what you said:
you thought to turn back
I know how you felt
you walked what you left

Your petite figure,
your shoulders, you ass
spectacular visions
that will never last.
With a simple good bye
our time has gone fast.

We had what we had
just a flake in the sand
your Heart untouched
protected by a spell
and that actually is
what made ringing the Bell

Untitled no.1

to V.

The bag fell, down on the ground
with no noise, but lot of sound
it contained a pinch of pride
and the usual pure grains
of "I've tried"

You can use them if you want
they are not yet running out
or grow roots and branches to taunt
someone who won't be around

Look, the door has now been closed
and my lock-picking can't expose
what there is actually behind:
all the secrets of your mind

The broken society

or about a shared path

There is a secret society
of everything broken
some members are speaking
about an old token

Its flag has an arrow
which cannot be thrown:
too heavy maybe
or just never flown

No gold on their fingers,
no silver in their pockets.
How peculiar it is:
they are probably broken

Someone enters the room
laughing out laud
the Secretary arrived
the college now bows

The altar is tall
for the Master of all
who with a stool
manages to fool

The Treasurer nearby
has the big Book of Lie.
He does what he must,
avoiding some broken trust

All's ready to start
but nobody knows how
all members remind
how broken's mankind

Quiet in a corner
a monk sitting down
with two crossed legs
and eyes to the ground.
He has been broken in the past
and a solution has found

There is also a guy
looking for a woman outside
no one is now there
and never has been.
Keep looking my friend:
hope is never a sin

A novice now speaks
she's never been broken:
allured by a mystery
which has never been spoken.
She explains the main ritual
for those who there stand;
her words are so perfect:
no one to understand
All that effort explaining
and all has been wasted.
Brothers, rejoice!
an initiation: no choice

Then last there is you
and close there is me
look, we are all of them
yet not able to see:
every one has been broken
or eventually be

Brothers, rejoice:
how common it is!

First dates

or on finding Balance

Your perfect body moves quickly
Your perfect body moves slowly
The Beast needs to bite
The Friend to look in your eyes

Will the Friend find something
beyond your perfect body to hold?

I am sitting here
looking at them
beautiful and terrible
ten inches away

Will the Beast calm his urges
to be fed by your hips?

I am walking with you
discovering
observing your thoughts
intrigued fascinated
amazed by your life

Will They be able to hold hands?
